Co-creating the future

Science and Society

Ruhr University Bochum and TU Dortmund University cooperate intensively to invent new structures within the academic system that support societal transformation processes. However, universities alone cannot solve this challenge. We know that real change requires a collective effort. That’s why both universities have built strong networks with municipalities, cultural institutions, economic development departments, and other research organizations in and around our cities. We also invite citizens to become part of the science hub Ruhr. Because the best results can only be achieved when we all work together.
